"Tagine" has a double meaning. It refers to both the utensil consisting of a round dish and topped with a conical lid, and the culinary preparation that this dish allows to prepare.
"Tajine" comes from the Arabic "Tajin", a term it self came from the ancient Greek "tagenon" means "frying pan".
THE MAIN COURSE :
The lamb tagine is part of the usual tagine recipes in Morocco. There are many varieties, salty, sweet ; Bouchra will deliver her version, "her" lamb tagine "home".
For optimum results, you will make a wood fired cooking , on majmar The traditional Moroccan barbecue.
YOUR MENU:
In addition this dish different preparations will call a traditional Moroccan menu:
- a rice soup with beans and milk,
- a salad,
- the traditional bread, cooked in a pan (the traditional way)
- a traditional dessert: fruit salad, fruit or vegetable juice.

The cooking classes are approximately 3 hours of preparation, and continues by sharing a meal in a Moroccan living room, and in respect of rites and customs of traditional Moroccan meal.
The rate includes the following services:
- two-way tickets by a 4x4 transport agency,
- utensils and raw materials,
- guidespoken (Arabic French English) in charge of translation and good progress of workshop,
- tasting of the realized recipes which will be served to you in the Moroccan salon of your host,
- 5 sorts of traditional Moroccan spices,
- 3 recipe cards available in French or English.
