      Let's talk now about  the utensil. The tagine is composed of two glazed terracotta elements : a round bowl and lid shaped conical chimney punched at the upper end. The secret of  tagine cooking lies in the shape of the lid that allows steam an excellent circulation for stewing.

The secret of a good tagine: do not be rush and let it simmer long, long time, ...

      THE MAIN COURSE:

You will continue your journey at the heart of the Berber culture in achieving this vegetables and meat tagine  along with Aisha and his daughter Loubna will be your companion. For the occasion. this is a workshop family !

      YOUR MENU:

To make a menu Berber, you will achieve more in these different preparations:

- two kinds of fresh Berber salads

- the traditional bread cooked in a pan (the traditional way),

- a traditional dessert made from fruit  or vegetable juice.

Moroccan cooking class : VEGETABLES AND MEAT TAJINE

You will devote approximately 3 hours to prepare various dishes. you will pursue this course by dinner in a Moroccan living room in respect of rites and customs of traditional Moroccan meal.


      Your workshop includes the following services:

  • utensils and raw materials,
  • guide spoken (Arabic French English) in charge of translation and good progress of workshop,
  • tasting of the realized recipes which will be served to you in the Moroccan salon of your host, 
  • 5 sorts of traditional Moroccan spices,
  • 3 recipe cards available in French or English.
  • The advantages during the workshop: photographing, a present from ateliers d'ailleurs
  • The advantages after the workshop:.emailing your photos, participation certificate, recipe sheets.

Options :

  • supplement for transport from our meeting point (medina or guéliz) : 150dhs/14e (1pers) ; 120dhs/11e (2pers) ; 90dhs/8e (3pers or +), round-trip per personn.
