This workshop brassware allows you to discover the various techniques used to create utilitarians and decorative objects in brass, in particular the brass shaping (Technique of tatbailit), and hammering, You also observe secondary operations, such as various types of performed welding and polishing.
Practical works lead you up to perform a traditional design on a brass plate from the technique of tatbailit and hammering. .
The program of your brassware training course includes:
- from 2 hours to 2h15 of practice during which you work the techniques of shaping and hammering;
- a tea- break in company of Mustafa, craftsman brass worker;
- explanations and demonstrations concerning the welding and polishing activities.
The following services are included in your brassware course:
- the presence of an experimented professional during the whole workshop, the necessary tools and raw materials for your practical work;
- the presence of a guide in charge of the translation, who will ensure the good progress of the workshop and assist you in a general way.
