The ^{brass work} is a strenuous activity: it requires _patience, _precision, physical strength, in particular for the brass shaping, but the result is equal to the effort when the snippet brass ^sheeting looks like a _{thin lace}.

This workshop brassware is a ^{comprehensive training course} that allows you to discover the _{various techniques} used to create utilitarians and decorative objects from brass: the brass shaping (Technique of tatbailit), hammering, engraving and ^{traditional designs} (technical of zouak), mixed with arabesques and geometric forms.

You will also _observe secondary operations, such as various types of welding performed and polishing.

With the accurate assistant of Mustafa, ^{practical works} lead you up to perform a traditional design on a _{brass plate} and work on a second object from the technique of tatbailit and hammering.

Brassware training course : different techniques

The ^program of your brassware training course includes:

from 3h30 to 4 hours of _practice throughout you work on the technique of ^shapingand ^hammering, then to achieve a traditional design (drawing zouak) on a brass plate;
a _{tea- break} in company of ^Mustafa, craftsman brass worker;
_explanations and demonstrations concerning the ^welding and ^polishing activities.

The ^{following services} are included in your brassware course:

the presence of an _{experimented professional} during the whole workshop, the necessary tools and raw materials for your practical work;
the presence of a ^guide in charge of the translation, who will ensure the good progress of the workshop and assist you in a general way.

J'ai participé à un stage de dinanderie au mois de décembre.
J'ai beaucoup aimé cette expérience pour plusieurs raisons : ateliers d'ailleurs à répondu à mon mail de demande de renseignements de suite. Puis arrivée à Marrakech le guide était au rendez-vous à l'heure dite. Un jeune homme parlant très bien un français impecable, agréable, très instruit sur de nombreux sujets : la ville, les rues que nous traversions, la religion. Nous avons eu des conversations enrichissantes qui m'ont mieux fait comprendre le Maroc. Le stage lui-même s'est très bien déroulé : les deux maîtres se sont mis à ma portée. Je suis enseignante, donc je sais reconnaître celui qui sais transmettre. Tous les deux ont fait preuve de patience et d'encouragements. Je me suis tout de suite sentie à l'aise parmi eux. De retour en France, j'ai montré ma réalisation à tout le monde.
Cette expérience aux Ateliers d'ailleurs a été enrichissante et je dirais même émouvante pour moi.
Lors de mon prochain séjour, je n'hésiterai pas à renouveler l'expérience.
