This pottery training course concentrates on the learning of the turning technique on a traditional potter's wheel.
For the beginners, gesture by gesture, you wil master the clay and learn how to manipulate the clay to create shapes. You will tackle also the entire workshop's organization, from the clay kneading, until the firing...
The practical activity is focused on the clay shaping and mastery of traditional potter's wheel.
The program of your pottery training course inclides:
- about 3 hours of practice devoted to the learning of the various phases required to achieve two pieces of pottery on the traditional potter's wheel;
- a tea -break in company with Mustafa, craftsman potter;
- explanations and demonstrations concerning the clay activities (kneading ....),the potteries firing and glazing activities.
The following services are included in your pottery training course:
- the presence of a professional experimented professional the whole workshop; the necessary tools and raw materials for your practical work and the protection's equipment (aprons);
- the presence of a guide in charge of the translation, who will ensure the good progress of the workshop and assist you in a general way;
- the transport from our meeting place toward the workshop by taxi (two-way tickets);
- a snack: tea and Moroccan specialities;
- a creation-souvenir made within the workshop.
