This pottery training course gives the priority to the manual activity and approaches the shaping technique by turning on a traditional potter's wheel.

During this work, you can also discover the workshop's organization and the various activities which are led there.


The practical work concerns the learning of the turning on the traditional potter's wheel, gesture by gesture, to realize two pieces of pottery.



Pottery training course : turning technique

The program of your pottery training course inclides:

  • about 1h45 of practice devoted to the learning of the various phases required to achieve two piece of pottery on the traditional potter's wheel;
  • explanations and demonstrations concerning the clay activities (kneading ....),the potteries firing and glazing activities.

The following services are included in your training course of pottery:

  • the presence of a professional experimented professional the whole  workshop;  the necessary tools and raw materials for your practical work and the protection's equipment (aprons);
  • the presence of a guide in charge of the translation, who will ensure the good progress of the workshop and assist you in a general way.

Options :

  • The rate for the 1 personworkshops: 840 dhs ou 77 euros;
  • supplement for transport from our meeting point (medina or guéliz) : 220 dhs/20 e (1pers) ; 120dhs/11e (2pers) ; 110 dhs/10 e (3pers ou +), aller-retour par personne.
