IF YOU COME TO MARRAKECH ... take the bus from the airport

We know Marrakesh, so we'd share our little tips. To better experience the city, get your bearings faster, enjoy some good places ...

Arriving to Marrakech by plane, you should use a transportation to get you in the city center of Marrakech. A very good alternative to taxis, whose prices are not fixed, is to take the bus Alsa City, the public transport company of the city of Marrakech.

Line 19 starts at the exit of the airport and takes you into the center of the new city, Gueliz, or in the medina to the Jemaa El Fna. The shuttle starts at 6:15 in the morning, and runs every 30 minutes until 21 in the evening.

eXPLORaILLEURS OF THE WEEK: Antoinette from HANDIOASIS

The ExplorAilleurs are men, women (and children!) trying the adventure of our workshops. We share with you their achievements and impressions!

As you can see from the photo, Antoinette is an ExplorAilleure who learns quickly!

She has booked a 4 hours wood painting workshop via Handioasis, a guest house located on the km7 of the road to Ourika.!

With Hicham, master craftsman in zouak painting (traditional wood painting), she has discovered the different decorative styles used in Morocco and created different designs from work steps explained by Hicham.

What does she say about her experience? "I am very delighted with this discovery, with Hicham's techniques, with the Moroccan art. I will come back, with great pleasure. Thank you!" Antoinette

KNOW US: Tadelakt worshops with Ateliers d'ailleurs

Because there are a thousand ways to organize workshops, we present here various aspects of our work to help you understand how we design and organize our workshops and trainings.

Our workshops last either 2 or 4 hours and follow standard training programs, unlike our training courses which can last several days and are custom designed.

You work in a real professional workshop. The craftsman shows you his way of work and you practise  most of the time by following his advices.

You are also always accompanied by an assistant of our team in order to facilitate the exchange and to ensure the proper conduct of the program.

You can work on wall (simple wall and angles work), on pottery (you get to take it with you).You can also choose to do both (only with a 4 hours formula).

Rates range between 430 dhs and 650 dhs, from two people without transportation, according to your choice (one person worshop possible as an option).
