Contemplation of a mosaic-zellige, leaves us always admiring the patience and exactness that craftsman must deploy to achieve it. This is so manual operations, tracing, cutting and finishing require high precision and therefore a great mastery of gestures and body.
This workshop 5 hour allows you to concentrate on the technique of mosaic zellige, in otherwise, cutting a tile zellige into small pieces and then assembling them. You also have plenty of time to discover the art of making plates of zellige, made exclusively in Fez.
The manual labour is dedicated to drawing, cutting and finishing of small pieces of zellige to perform an original composition.
The program of your zellige training course includes:
- Between 3 hours and a half and 4 hours of practice during which you work cutting and finishing of pieces of zellige;
- a tea-break in company of Mohamed, craftsmen zellige;
- explorations and demonstrations concerning the raw materials and assembly technique.
The following services are included in your zellige course:
- the presence of an experimented professional during the whole workshop and the necessary tools and raw materials for your practical work;
- the presence of a guide in charge of the translation, who will ensure the good progress of the workshop and assist you in a general way.
- The advantages during the workshop: snack "home made Moroccan pastry", photographing, a present from ateliers d'ailleurs
- The advantages after the workshop:.emailing your photos, participation certificate, learning sheets.

- extra rate for the 1 person workshops: 200 dhs or 18 euros.
