Traditional wood painting course - Marrakech

The traditional wood painting, called again in Morocco as zouak painting, is brilliant colours, like any Moroccan decorative artcrafts, style varied between arabesque and geometric shapes inspiring authenticity, finesse and elegance.

This workshop 5 hours will immerse you in the universe of this know-how. Bader will explain the different types of designs, you will also discover the used material, you paint your timber decoration which you will take with you.   

Traditional wood painting course

The program of your wood painting training course includes:

  • 3h30 to 4h of practice around the activities of drawing ; painting and finishing;
  • a tea-break in company of Bader, craftsman painter; 
  • explanations concerning the different traditional design styles and used materials (wood, paint ...).

The following services are included in your wood painting training course:

  • the presence of an experimented professional during the whole workshop, the necessary tools and raw materials for your practical work;
  • the presence of a guide in charge of the translation, who will ensure the good progress of the workshop and assist you in a general way.
  • The advantages during the workshop: snack "home made Moroccan pastry", photographing, a present from ateliers d'ailleurs
  • The advantages after the workshop:.emailing your photos, participation certificate, learning sheets.

Options :

  • extra rate for the 1 person workshops: 200 dhs or 18 euros.
